I HAVE AN EXPLANATION!!!! (not a very good one, but STILL, an explanation!!! 
)
A LONG time ago (okay, just a few months ago) I was practicing drawing in this style, and I drew Frankie in that pose. I was very PROUD of the way I drew Frankie, and wanted to continue. I added a little Mac in the corner (a different one from this one; the Mac I finally went with is about Mac # 12. I couldn't find a style i liked for him...
)
I thought to myself, "Hmm....What would have Frankie and Mac reacting this way?" I couldn't figure it out, so I let a few months go by and forgot about the picture. I found it a while later and thought, "Hmm...Mr. Herriman IS pretty scary when he's mad...I'll have them reacting to him!"
So, a LONG time went past as I tried to find a good model for Mr. Herriman's angry face, and lo & behold, I was watching some of the episodes of Foster's I had recorded, and an episode came on where Mr. Herriman was this pissed off.
I FOUND MY SOURCE!!!!
So, I drew in the rest, (Bloo and Goo being spur-of-the-moment ideas I threw in) and was so proud, I outlined it in pen and colored it!!

This is one main reason why I think Imaginary Friends are more of Jerks and Extremeosauruses rather than actual friends. Especially behind closed doors.
Because they only view the ones nice enough to help and take them in as servants and slaves for them to push around as they please.
And Herriman is no exception.
Because he only views Frankie as a servant to treat however he wishes. And perhaps he enjoys the treatment he inflicts, as the other Extremeosauruses who Frankie is forced to wait hand and foot on enjoy the same or just don't care. Because those who do so are servants and therefore do not deserve anything in return.
In fact, I don't think Herriman ever gave two hoots and a holler about Frankie had always treated her very poorly throughout her entire life and had no intention of recognizing what a hard worker she truly was. And even if he did, it would still be the same because Herriman feels entitled to treat the servants like dirt. Because servants are the lowest rank in the business, which is all the more reason the higher ranking members are entitled to treat the lower ranking ones like dirt. Even if it was his own creator who was the servant.
Point is, Imaginary Friends may seem Sweet, Nice, and Friendly to the public, but behind closed doors, they are nothing but cruel, backstabbing, shallow, lazy, greedy, selfish, uncaring, worthless, useless, horrible, idiotic, Extremeosaurus Jerks. And even after everything that they do the person/people who are nice enough to take of them are still treated like garbage by them.
The bitterest truth is always better than the sweetest lie.
